Dear St. James Academy Supporter,
Since 1952, St. James Academy has been committed to preparing students to live in the world as
faithful and responsible citizens in an ever-changing environment. In our commitment to excellence
we provide a comprehensive curriculum valuing cultural and intellectual diversity, as well as
compassion and social responsibility. Our students are contributing members of society and have
great success and growth long after they have left St. James Academy. We are proud to be a part
of their faithful, academic and social foundation.
Our families, students, faculty and staff are intimately tied to and support the greater community in
many ways. All members of St. James Academy frequent local businesses, participate in local
events, such as the Solana Beach Tree Lighting and Encinitas Holiday Parade, volunteer at events
and outreach opportunities, such as Blood Drives, Food Packaging and water stations at the
Surfing Madonna Run to name a few.
St. James Academy’s fundraising committee devotes many volunteer hours to a number of
fundraising events throughout the year. The goal is to keep tuition affordable so that more
members of the community can access faith-based education. The auction proceeds close the
shortfall between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student, provide financial aid, faculty
professional development and continue the implementation of our innovative programs for all
students.
We ask for your support of the annual Gala, 2020. We are seeking sponsorships and/or donations
in the form of items, gift certificates, or underwriting for these events. Your business will be
acknowledged at the event, giving your company the recognition it deserves. If you wish to be a
sponsor please complete the Sponsor Form and return via envelope or email. If you would like to
specify the application of funds please complete the Specific Project/ Needs Opportunities Form.
If you wish to make a donation, please mail or drop off the Donation Form with the Specific Project/
Needs Opportunities Form if specific allocation is desired and any items or gift certificates to the
school office. St. James Academy is a non-profit organization, and we greatly appreciate your tax
