About Us

 St. James Academy is North County's premier Catholic School, devoted to academic excellence since 1952. St. James Academy is dedicated to teaching the principles of the Catholic faith and providing the opportunities for worship and service in our community and world. St. James Academy provides each child with a learning environment in which they grow toward their God-given potential and become leaders and stewards. Each student develops life long skills that incorporate confidence and competency in their growth as critical thinkers and problem solvers in our ever changing world. St. James Academy teachers and staff nurture and guide each student in academics, faith, and emotionally so that our graduates are well prepared for their family, church, civic, and global responsibilities.

We have chosen Mission Circle as our community outreach. Mission Circle is near and dear to our community. It was started in 1977 by Father John Howard and has grown immensely! Mission Circle funds Casa Eudes an all girls school and home in Tijuana, food packaging, homeless outreach, and prison ministry. This year 10% of all sponsorships for the gala will be donated to Mission Circle along with holiday fundraisers and school family events.
